You might have seen many rappers from all over the world who have blown your mind with their rap songs, music and swag. We thought to introduce you the NEPHOP STARS, some of the finest Nepalese rappers who will turn you speechless and you couldn't stop yourself from saying WOW. The history of rapping and hip-hop songs in Nepal started long back in time in 1993 before most of the Asian countries. And, Nepal has many such world class rappers who are already popular in international RAP and HIP-HOP communities with the NEPALESE SWAG and taste.

GIRISH KHATIWADA is considered as one of the oldest rapper of Nepal who introduced Nepali HIP-HOP aka. NEPHOP to NEPAL in 1993 at the early age of 15 through his song MEANINGLESS RAP in his compilation album TALENT-3.
BUT, the revolution of Nepalese rap world began in 2013 when  four friends Dipan Karmacharya, Adeel Manandhar, Yama Buddha, and Kolin Bikram Rana ( the CEO and founder)  started a Rap Battle program named Raw Barz in Nepal. They were so much determined to promote hip-hop culture in Nepal and to provide a platform to all the Nepali rappers within and outside the Nation that they created a great platform for Nepalese rappers as RAW BARZ which became so much successful in NEPAL that it continued for 4 seasons and NEPAL got hundreds of new talents for the NEPHOP community.

10. MANAS GHALE 

Manas Ghale is an active Nep-Hop artist since the early 2000’s. He emerged on the Nep-Hop scene with his group – Nepsydaz with their debut album – KTM reality. His solo album titled ‘Sukeko Jiuma Loorey Ko Bal‘ which he produced under the management of the Record Label – Naya Records has become really famous in Nepal. Ranjay Gurung aka. Jay Author is 24-year old artist born and raised in Kathmandu. At age seven, his family moved to the UK and that’s where he puts out his amazing music from. He released his first song ‘For You’ in 2016, followed by his debut studio album ‘Summers Interlude’ in 2017. As we said before, he was the creator and presenter of popular rap battle show RAW BARZ. He was found dead in his bathroom of his home in UK on 14th Jan of 2017.
